The security service reported that the defendant came to the attention of the occupiers during his trips to the Russian Federation even before the full-scale war. After the start of the full-scale invasion, a career FSB officer contacted the man remotely and offered cooperation.
According to the case materials, the man was reconnoitering the locations of the Defense Forces, where the enemy was planning to launch air strikes with “shaheds” and missiles, and also conducted additional reconnaissance at the “arrival” sites. In addition, he was looking for “candidates for new agents.”
