Embankment in Kerch
The booms that the occupiers hoped to use to protect the Crimean Bridge from attacks by Ukrainian sea drones washed ashore in Kerch.
According to the “Krym.Realii” project, the remains of barricades – empty tanks held together with reinforcement – have accumulated on the city embankment.
The Russians placed these structures in the Kerch Strait along with barges that were supposed to block the advance of Ukrainian Armed Forces weapons to the bridge.
However, recently journalists have begun to report on the drift of boom barriers near Kerch. And the number of barges that the occupiers deployed to protect the illegal structure increased.
