Military actions in Donetsk region, 140 combat clashes, enemy shelling, Zelensky at the summit of the European Political Community, a current discussion within the framework of the “New Country” project. How will the 988th day of a full-scale war be remembered?
The OPA reports 40 casualties, including four children: a four-month-old girl and boys aged 1, 5 and 15. About 30 people are in hospitals in moderate condition.
“Rescuers pulled two wounded children and an injured woman from under the rubble. The victim lived on the third floor, and after the building collapsed, she ended up on the second,” the National Police noted.
There may still be people under the rubble.

Volodymyr Zelensky offered Europe a mechanism to support Ukraine if the US does not support our country after Donald Trump's victory.
At a press conference following his participation in the European Political Community summit, Zelensky proposed transferring the frozen $300 billion to Ukraine. “Right now there are $300 billion in frozen Russian assets. They (the Russians – Ed.) have destroyed Ukraine, according to estimates by international institutions, for about $800 billion… Everyone is saying – what will you do if Trump does not support you financially, where will you get weapons, how will you defend yourself. I answer you – can we take the $300 billion that belongs to us? We will support our people and buy weapons in all countries of the world with this money,” the head of state said.
Zelensky asked about the purchase of weapons and the use of funds. “Can we decide for ourselves what weapons we need? Can we decide for ourselves what to do with this money? Can no European country block this money? Can we give it to them?… Can we just hand over the money of already frozen Russian murderers and oligarchs,” the president asked.
Zelensky called on Europe to make “strong decisions” and noted that Ukraine does it faster and cheaper in the matter of weapons production.
After the audit of the enterprises booked on the list of critically important enterprises is completed on November 15, the authorities will present updated rules aimed at balancing the booking system.
This was stated by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, speaking at the Kyiv Economic Forum. He stressed that the authorities must “find a balance between a functioning economy and the needs of the Defense Forces.”
“An audit of the list of critically important enterprises must be conducted by November 15. While this audit is ongoing, those whose reservations are currently ending, who had reservations before May 31 of this year, can continue their reservations,” Shmigal said.
You can read more about this in the article “Reserved – for audit”.
