Syrsky: In October, drones destroyed and hit more than 52,000 enemy targets

In October, more than 52 thousand enemy targets were destroyed and hit as a result of combat sorties by drones.

This was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky.

According to him, the most effective unmanned aerial systems were strike drone bombers. Their operators completed more than 7,000 missions.

“Of these, the following targets deserve special attention: 129 artillery systems, 221 units of enemy radio equipment and more than 4 thousand enemy manpower,” the Commander-in-Chief reported.

At a monthly meeting with the commanders of unmanned systems units, he heard a report from Colonel Vadim Sukharevsky, Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the formation of units and the results of using drones in combat mission areas.

“I thanked the commanders of the combat units of unmanned systems and their subordinates for their sustainability and effectiveness. Special thanks to the crews of the 414th BPS KSV regiment, 412th BPS SBS battalion, which demonstrate a high level of professionalism and efficiency,” he emphasized. that unmanned systems technologies are developing rapidly, and therefore it is necessary to be one step ahead of the enemy.

“Despite difficult weather conditions, the unmanned systems units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a whole continue to demonstrate high efficiency on the battlefield,” he noted.
