The Commander-in-Chief believes that if it were not for our military in the Kursk region, the situation at the front would have significantly worsened.
Commander-in-Chief Alexander Syrsky
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky visited the units and subdivisions participating in the hostilities in the Kursk direction.
“The importance of this operational area cannot be underestimated, given the number of enemy troops concentrated there,” he wrote in the telegram.
According to him, if it were not for the resilience of our soldiers, tens of thousands of enemies from the best Russian strike units would have stormed our positions in the Pokrovsky, Kurakhovsky, and Toretsky directions, which would have significantly worsened the situation at the front.
“Now, following the orders of their military leadership, they are trying to push out our troops and advance deeper. Our task in this direction is to contain and destroy the enemy on his own land,” Syrsky noted, adding that his work there was devoted to assisting commanders in organizing combat operations, increasing the effectiveness of fire damage to the enemy, and resolving issues of comprehensive support and preparation of reserves.
“I am grateful to our soldiers for their steadfastness and courage in the fight against the Russian aggressor,” the Commander-in-Chief added.
