Russia pays for North Korea's resources with missile technology, Rutte says

This poses a danger not only to the European part of NATO, but also to the United States, South Korea and Japan

For the participation of the North Korean military in the war against Ukraine and the supply of ammunition and missiles, Russia pays the DPRK with the transfer of technology, including missile technology.

This was stated by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte at NATO headquarters in Brussels, Ukrinform writes.

This poses a danger not only to the European part of NATO, but also to the United States, South Korea and Japan, the Secretary General emphasized.

According to Rutte, China is also involved in circumventing sanctions against Russia. Beijing leaves dual-use goods to the Kremlin, which helps Moscow's military machine.

In addition, Iran transfers drone technology to Russia and makes other deliveries. Russia pays with money, and this helps Iran continue its efforts to destabilize the Middle East.

“So, we see that the Euro-Atlantic and Indo-Pacific regions are not two isolated theaters, they are becoming increasingly united. What is happening in Ukraine is now reflected globally. This means that we must stay the course, increase defense production, do more in terms of spending, and do more to make sure that Ukraine can win,” Rutte added.
