Andriy Sybiga is looking forward to cooperation with the new head of American diplomacy.
The head of the Ukrainian MFA, Andriy Sybiga, congratulated Senator Marco Rubio on his nomination for Secretary of State in the new administration of Donald Trump on the X social network.
The head of the MFA said that he is looking forward to cooperation with the 72nd head of American diplomacy in the country's history. Sybiga hopes to “deepen the mutually beneficial Ukrainian-American strategic partnership.”
Together with Rubio, the official seeks to “promote the principle of peace through strength in Ukraine and around the world.”
Marco Rubio's candidacy must still be approved by Congress early next year, but thanks to the Republicans' success in the elections and their gaining a majority in both chambers, there is practically no doubt about this.
