The Border Service reported that the activity of enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups is now significantly less.

However, the enemy has not abandoned its sabotage activities; most of these attempts are being recorded in the Sumy direction.

> State Border Service representative Andriy Demchenko said on television that the activity of enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups has decreased, Ukrinform reports. Most of these attempts are being recorded in the Sumy direction. It was on this section of the border with Russia that the extreme groups that the enemy tried to send to the territory of Ukraine were exposed and they were defeated in order to drive them out of our territory,” Demchenko said.

He added that with a certain regularity, hostile sabotage and reconnaissance groups still try to enter the Sumy region.

According to him, the Ukrainian soldiers understand the threat from such actions of the enemy well, therefore all units of different components of the Defense Forces act together, using technical means of observation, in order to expose such groups in time and defeat them.
