Gas contamination was found in mines from the combat zone in Ukraine, – OCP

Organization of Chemical Waste Control (OCCP) published a report that confirms the presence of acute speech among the people collected in the area of ​​military operations in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The investigation was carried out at the request of Ukraine.

According to the document, the incident took place on June 20, 2024 near the village of Illinka in the Dnipropetrovsk region. OPCZ experts recorded the fact of stagnation of the CS speech, tested the evidence and collected samples from the ground, collected from the trenches.

Independent analysis of several laboratories of the OCP confirmed that the obtained samples from the soil and fragments of the projectile contained 2-chlorobenzylidenemalononitrile (CS), known as a gaseous gas.

General Director of the OPCZ Fernando Arias, having identified a “deep disturbance” in the drive of chemical pollution, said that all member states of the organization, including Russia, are obliged to respond to this virus nothing, saving and stagnation.

Apparently, this is the first wave of official confirmation of the chemical pollution in the regions of Ukraine, which is affected by military actions.

The General Staff of the ZSU previously reported that the entire Russian army fought a chemical defense against the Ukrainian military 323 times.

This action is a violation of international law, including the Convention on the Suppression of Chemical Plants, which protects the vicinity of such plants.

Destruction of chemical weapons by the Russians

Earlier, the Head Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense informed about the possibility of the Russian occupiers planting chemical weapons in the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporiya in this region.
