The death toll from yesterday's Russian missile strike on Sumy has increased to 11. There are also 89 wounded, including 10 children, the State Emergency Service, the National Police and the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office reported.

“As of this morning, the number of people killed in the attack has increased to 11, including two children. Another 55 people were injured, including eight children,” the rescuers said in a statement.

Later, the prosecutor's office clarified that there were 63 injured, including 10 children, and the rescuers noted that the number of injured was 89 people.

A 9-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl, five women and four people were killed. Two educational institutions, 13 buildings, including 90 apartments, and 28 cars were damaged.

November 18 and 19 in Sumy are days of mourning for those killed in the enemy attack on November 17.

< b>In the Kurakhovsky direction the Defense Forces repelled 42 attacks. The occupiers most actively tried to advance near Novaya Ilyinka, Berestki, Voznesenka, Solntsovka, Zarya, Maksimilyanovka, Dalnee, Kurakhovoye, Yekaterinovka, Elizavetovka and Antonovka.

Over the past 24 hours, aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces have hit 13 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, one command post, one radar and one electronic warfare station of the enemy.

The General Staff also reports that over the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces have eliminated another 1,560 Russian occupiers., 15 enemy tanks, 58 combat armored vehicles and 30 artillery systems. In total, the Ukrainian defenders destroyed about 722,440 occupiers.

Georgian protesters against the official results of the parliamentary elections spent the night in tents in Tbilisi for the first time in a month. Before that, they dispersed for the night.
