Authorities claim that “the reeds are burning.”
A large-scale fire has started near the Russian city of Krasnodar: the flames are visible from remote parts of the city, and there is a huge glow in the sky.
According to local residents online, the fire started after two explosions were heard.
But the authorities have their own version of events: the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Adygea stated that at the 12th kilometer of the Krasnodar-Novorossiysk highway, allegedly only “reeds are burning, and there is no threat to life support facilities or the population.”
