In Nikolaev, a regional heat power company employee worked for the FSB and adjusted strikes on the city

SBU cyber specialists exposed the traitor in advance and detained him.

The Security Service detained another FSB informant who was preparing coordinates for a new series of Russian missile and drone strikes on Nikolaev.

This was reported by the SBU press center.

The enemy agent turned out to be a 43-year-old technical worker at the local regional heat power company. He came to the “attention” of the aggressor because of his pro-Russian comments in Telegram channels.

After the briefing, the man began reconnaissance of the places of the greatest concentration of personnel and military equipment of the Defense Forces. In his own car, he drove around the territory of the city and nearby areas and secretly recorded objects where, in his opinion, Ukrainian defenders could be. The man also tried to “blindly” ask his colleagues and acquaintances for the information he needed under the guise of everyday conversations.

SBU cyber specialists exposed the traitor in advance and detained him at his place of residence. During the searches, a mobile phone with an installed Telegram channel was seized from the detainee, through which he communicated with the FSB.

The man was notified of suspicion under Part 3 of Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code (unauthorized dissemination of information about the movement, movement or location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine). He faces up to 12 years in prison.
