Umerov: Sweden will finance the production of Ukrainian long-range drones under the “rd&rd; Umerov and Paul Johnson <p>The Ukrainian Defense Minister said that Sweden will finance the production of Ukrainian long-range drones under the “Danish model” (financing the production of weapons in Ukraine). This was reported by the press service of the Defense Ministry. </p> <p>Umerov agreed on this during a visit to Sweden with the country's Defense Minister Paul Johnson. </p> <p>“This is another step towards strengthening Ukraine's defense capability, which demonstrates our partners' trust in our military-industrial potential,” Umerov said. </p> <p>The parties also discussed plans to finance assistance to Ukraine for 2025. Work is underway to ensure that this support is even greater and meets the real needs of Ukraine. </p> <p>A separate focus is equipping brigades. The parties are finalizing the agreements. </p> <p>Recall that recently at the 4th Ukraine-Northern Europe summit, all five participating countries supported the “Danish model” of financing weapons production in Ukraine.</p> <p><!--noindex--></p> <p><a rel=lb.ua
