On Saturday, November 23, mountain rocks fell behind the railway tracks in the Transcarpathian region. Train traffic is blocked.

As a result of the rock falling on the railway track, there were changes in train traffic on the Syanki – Mukachevo section.
According to preliminary information, the electric train is blocked on the section, two wheel pairs have derailed. A recovery team of railway workers is working on the site.
“The train speed was lower than permitted, so there are no injuries. All passengers are already being delivered to their destinations by road,” the report says.
To minimize delays, train No. 59 Kyiv – Chop will be sent around the blocked section.
