“The shooter who fired at the hotel and fatally wounded a man has been detained,” the police report. .
On November 23, at about 1:00 a.m., a conflict and subsequent brawl arose between two groups in the hotel, during which one of the participants pulled out a weapon and fired several shots at his opponents.
The 27-year-old man died on the spot from his injuries, and the victim's friend and the establishment's security guard were also injured. The latter were hospitalized in satisfactory condition.
The police then detained one of the participants in the fight.
Criminal proceedings were initiated under two articles of the Criminal Code: Part 1 of Article 115 – intentional murder, and Part 2 of Article 296 – hooliganism. The offender faces up to fifteen years in prison.
