President Volodymyr Zelensky stressed that Russia must feel that every step it takes to expand the war has consequences for it.

“Thank you for each such step. No less important are the sanctions – this week gave us new US sanctions against Russia, very effective ones – against the banking sector. This is what significantly weakens the Putin system, and this is what is needed more.
