Powered by Tomahawk. What does the NATO PA resolution mean for Ukraine: an expert’s thought

NATO Parliamentary Assembly praised the resolution and called on Ukraine to Crylate Tomahawk missiles. It’s unlikely that the decision will be made, but the negotiations can be activated.

About this comment on the YouTube channel RBC-Ukraine, the head of the Ukraine-NATO Community League Sergei Gerdzh.

In my words, the NATO Parliamentary Assembly is more of a platform for deputies of member states and partners. Her idea may be important from this point of view, since even in their parliaments they will convince their colleagues to support the position that Ukraine needs to be strengthened with medium-range missiles.

Obviously, the resolution is not a recommendation, but not a necessary one for the Viconn. However, if anything is more positive, it confirms the need to reduce military targets on Russian territory.

Although the American Tomahawk missiles are from the plan of victory, it is unlikely that they will be able to count specific ones and quick decisions.

“As far as I know, the resolution said that it was necessary to transfer ballistic missiles and medium-range missiles to Ukraine from 1 to 2.5 thousand kilometers. I think they talked about medium-range missiles. Tomahawk, as a rule, a sea base, although in the United States there could be some kind of analogue of a land base,” said Jerge.

Resolution with a call about Tomahawk for Ukraine

As reported by the People’s Deputy and the head of the permanent delegation of Ukraine to the NATO PA Egor Chernev, in praise The resolution was about ballistic missiles with a range of 1000-5500 kilometers, such as Tomahawk, which are capable of delivering strikes at strategic depths.

He also believes that the resolution will create a legal basis for further decisions regarding the transfer of legislative documents. Chernev guessed that at the last session the Ukrainian delegation was talking about attacks on Russian territory with an approaching armor. Recently, the USA, Great Britain and France gave the green light.

“We hope for a positive decision this time,” he added.

Guess what, Finally, President Volodymyr Zelensky having confirmed that he will use the Tomahawk for secret additions to the plan of victory.

These are a large number of winged missiles intended for strategic and tactical missions. They are launched mainly from underwater and surface carriers, but in the Tomahawk family there are missiles that are part of land and airborne platforms.

Missiles fly at extremely low altitudes. They have been used in all significant military operations involving the United States since they were put into operation in 1983.
