The Ukrainian ombudsman did not receive from the Russian Federation the lists for the prisoner exchange reported by the Russian Foreign Ministry

Ukraine tried to obtain lists from the Russian Federation through intermediaries.

Dmitry Lubinets, Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights

Statements by representatives of the Russian Federation on the exchange of prisoners of war in the “630 for 630” format may be an attempt to launch an information and psychological special operation against Ukraine.

This was stated by the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets, Ukrinform reports.

“I can officially say that I did not receive any lists, no one gave them to me. Although we tried to obtain information and lists from the Russian Federation through intermediaries,” Lubinets assured.

He emphasized that work on the speedy return of Ukrainian military and civilians from Russian captivity is ongoing.
