Ombudsman criticizes his representative for talking about “victory over busification”

According to the commissioner, “there can be no talk of achievements.”

The Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets, in his own Telegram channel, denied the statement of his representative in Kyiv and the Kyiv region regarding the alleged “almost complete eradication of the so-called busification.”

The Ombudsman stated that Nikita Kozyrenko “is not dealing with this issue,” and his words were “taken out of context”.

Lubinets recalled that he and his representatives in the regions “react to cases of illegal actions by TCC employees.” Based on their appeals, disciplinary and criminal proceedings have been opened for cases of so-called “busification.”

“But there can be no talk of any victory or achievements,” the ombudsman emphasized and called on the media that disseminated Kozyrenko's statement to publish a refutation.
