In December, 18-year-old Ukrainians will be able to receive money for books from Deistvie.
This was reported by the Ministry of Digital Development.
“The government has adopted a resolution on the launch of the Book in the Action application. 18-year-old Ukrainians will receive financial assistance in the amount of 908 hryvnia. These funds can be spent on purchasing books in Ukrainian – in paper, electronic or audio format,” the ministry said in a statement.
Within 3 months after the funds are credited, they must be used in bookstores that have joined the program.
You can apply and receive assistance online through the Action application.
To do this, you will need to complete the following steps:
- Log in to the Action application.
- Select a service.
- Open a special account for crediting assistance.
- Use the funds in bookstores participating in the program within three months.
If the funds remain unused, they will automatically return to the Ukrainian Book Institute. The service is available to Ukrainian citizens who have reached the age of 18 since 2024.
- Back in June, Zelensky signed a law on the introduction of certificates for young people to purchase books and reimburse stores for rent. The Parliament adopted this document on May 22.
