Media: Oleksandr Lutsenko removed from command of Donetsk OTU

Another general will be responsible for stopping the Russian advance in the Pokrovsky direction.

The Financial Times publication has been dismissed from the post of commander of the operational-tactical group “Donetsk”. The reason for the personnel decision was the rapid advance of enemy troops in the Pokrovsky direction.

A Ukrainian official, cited by FT author Christopher Miller, said that Lutsenko will receive another post in the Ground Forces. His place was taken by Brigadier General Alexander Tarnavsky, who previously commanded the Tavria group.

“Ukrainian Truth” from its sources in the Armed Forces of Ukraine says that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky personally came to replace the commander.
