During the day, two civilians were killed in the Kharkiv region due to Russian aggression. The occupiers shelled the Kupyansk district.
This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv OVA Oleg Sinegubov.
On the night of December 17, at about 02:02 in the city of Kupyansk a destroyed outbuilding was burning on the territory of a medical institution.
Before this, yesterday from 19:20 to 20:12 in Kupyansk 15 houses were damaged as a result of shelling from MLRS. A 53-year-old man and a 64-year-old man were killed. One of them died on the way to the hospital.
At 17:08 in s. Nechvolodovka, Kupyansk district as a result of the shelling, a house was on fire.

Aftermath of the shelling
- In the Kharkov direction, the enemy carried out offensive actions three times in the areas of Glubokoe and Kazachya Lopan.
- The number of combat clashes per day in the Kupyansk direction reached four. The defense forces repelled attacks by the occupiers in the areas of Kucherivka, Zagryzovoe, Lozovaya and Petropavlovka.
As a result of increased evacuation measures, 37 people were evacuated from the Kupyansk and Borovsk directions.
