<p>The General Staff confirmed the defeat of the Novoshakhtinsk Oil Refinery in the Rostov Region.</p>
<p>This is the only oil refinery operating in the Rostov Region. It is used to meet the needs of the aggressor's armed forces.</p>
<p>Specializes in the production of fuel oil, heating oil, judicial and diesel fuel, straight-run gasoline. The design processing capacity is 7.5 million tons of oil per year. </p>

<p>< b>Updated</b>. At the same time, LB.ua sources reported that the damage to the Novoshakhtinsk Oil Refinery is a joint operation of the SBU and the Ukrainian Navy. </p>
<p>Last night, the Security Service of Ukraine, together with the Navy, carried out a combined attack on the Novoshakhtinsk oil refinery in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation. According to our sources, the SBU drones first overloaded the Russian air defense system protecting the refinery. In doing so, they created a “window of opportunity” for Ukrainian rockets, which the SBU and the Navy jointly used in the next stage.</p>
<p>The attack on the refinery resulted in a large-scale fire. The video shows that there were many ignition sources over a large area. The ELOU-AVT-2.5 unit, designed to produce liquefied hydrocarbon gases, was also damaged. Preliminary information confirms that the joint operation of the SBU and the Navy caused significant damage to the plant's production facilities. </p>
<p>“Today's <b>special operation was carried out using unmanned vehicles and missiles of Ukrainian manufacture</b>. This once again proves the effectiveness and power of Ukrainian weapons. Including its ability to destroy enemy logistics working for the war in Ukraine,” an informed source in the SBU reported.</p>
