The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced elections to the Public Anti-Corruption Council under the Ministry of Defense.
According to the department, 40 candidates from 19 public associations will take part in the competition.

The Ministry of Defense added that registered candidates can campaign for their support until December 25. And on December 26, voting will take place, which will last from 9.00 to 21.00. All citizens of Ukraine can join it after identifying themselves on the “Action” portal.
“The 15 members who will be elected as a result of the competition will ensure civilian control over the activities of the Ministry of Defense over the next 2 years,” the department added.
- In March 2023, then-Minister of Defense Oleksiy Reznikov signed a decree approving the regulations on the Public Anti-Corruption Council under the Ministry of Defense.
