The Navy commander announced new attacks on the towers of Crimea

The operation to save gas and footwear platforms in Crimea will be continued. The towers near the Black Sea are an important point of guard for the occupiers.

RBC-Ukraine reports this in an interview with the commander of the Ukrainian Naval Forces, Vice-Admiral Oleksiy Nezhpapa. ArmyInform.

Having noted that the attack on the towers was being carefully prepared, the operation will be continued.

“We cannot allow the enemy to be found at sea, we cannot allow our civilians and military to be spied on ships and fire understand the situation,” said Neizhpapa.

In his words, the strikes on the towers were caused not only by sea drones, but also by other types of weapons.

“We know that the enemy there, having deprived of special recognition, if they are separated logistically, they may be safe from the windy paths from the obtained helicopters. We will continue to work on such towers,” said the Navy commander.

The battle for the rigs of Crimea

On the shores of occupied Crimea there are gas and naphtha mining platforms, more commonly known as the “Boika rigs”.

Russia has stolen the platforms from 2014 and has been victorious over them military for the purposes of a full-scale war. Zokrem, radar stations were installed on the towers.

In the spring of 2023, Ukraine turned back control over the “Boika towers” ​​near the Black Sea. At the beginning of 2024, it was reported about attacks on another gas rig in the Black Sea.
