China criticized the US military aid to Taiwan for 571 million dollars

On Friday, the 20th, the United States saw 571 million dollars in military aid. China has criticized the decision on its own side.

RBC-Ukraine reported this in a post to Reuters.

China announced today that the new aid package seriously violates the “one China principle” and the provisions joint communiqués between the People's Republic of China and the United States.

The representative of the Ministry of Health of the People's Republic of China added that the country is taking “all necessary steps” to protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity. Also, the statement of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs called Taiwan “a line of red that cannot be crossed” in the Sino-American relations.

Reuters guessed that Beijing respects Taiwan’s democratically holding its own territory, but the order in Taipei remains firm.

It seems likely that US President Joe Biden praised the decision to help Taiwan. The borders of this package will include 571 million dollars.

On the White House website it is said that in addition to seeing the funds, and how to manage them – Biden is delegating to the newly appointed US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.

“I delegate to the Secretary of State the responsibility… to arrange for the allocation of up to 571.3 million US dollars for defense statistics and services of the Ministry of Defense, as well as for military service and preparation for providing assistance to Taiwan,” – go to information.
