The military will continue training in Ukraine. Then, on January 10, 2025, the next volunteers will sign contracts with the Ukrainian Armed Forces and go to the training ground in Poland for training.

“Of course, we would like the process to go faster, but it is going as it is. We are working to ensure that this information is publicly available in all EU countries, and possibly overseas. We can only stimulate voluntary encouragement, this is an absolutely voluntary unit. Our citizens who are proclaimed to it, I am convinced, will have the appropriate satisfaction for good training,” the ambassador said.

He added that the training of the first volunteer legionnaires will continue at Ukrainian training grounds. Bodnar did not name their number.
