According to the publication's sources, the Justice Ministry allegedly decided to dismiss the official whose department is responsible for state registries, which became the target of an unprecedented attack by Russian hackers.

However, it later became known that On December 25, Berezhnoy's contract comes to an end. The Ministry has not sent him any proposals to implement an agreement on the management of National Information Systems.

Alexey Berezhnoy has headed the enterprise since 2019. On the day of the cyberattack on December 19, the company he manages reported allegedly “carrying out scheduled technical work” on a number of unified state registries, due to which about 20 services stopped working on the digital services portal “Action”.
