General Staff: more than fifty clashes have occurred in the Pokrovsky direction since the beginning of the day <p>As of 22:00 on December 24, there were 248 combat clashes. Ukrainian defenders continue to decisively repel the enemy's attempts to advance deep into our territory, inflicting fire damage on them.</p> <p>This was reported by the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.</p> <p>The Russian invaders launched one missile strike on Ukrainian territory, 12 airstrikes, dropping 29 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they used more than 640 kamikaze drones for destruction and carried out about four thousand shellings on the positions of our troops and populated areas. </p> <p>On <b>Kharkiv</b>In the direction, the enemy unsuccessfully stormed the positions of our units in the area of ​​Volchansk and Vysokaya Yaruga five times. To date, Ukrainian units have destroyed 45 invaders in this direction and wounded another 46, and also neutralized 11 UAVs, three vehicles and three units of special means of the occupier. </p> <p>In the <b>Kupyansk</b> direction, the aggressor carried out offensive actions near Petrovpavlovka, Kolesnikovka, Zagryzovoye and Lozovaya. Ukrainian defenders stopped 15 enemy attacks, eight more are still ongoing. </p> <p>In the <b>Limansk</b> direction, Russian invaders attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 25 times near Druzhelyubovka, Zelenaya Roshcha, Novoegorovka, Makeyevka, Terny, Torskoye and in the direction of Grigorovka. Four clashes are still ongoing. </p> <p>In the <b>Seversky</b>direction, our defenders repelled one assault by occupation troops near Belogorovka. Stupochki. The defense forces stopped seven attacks by the invaders, two clashes are ongoing.</p> <p>In the <b>Toretsk</b> direction, the aggressor made 15 attempts to advance on the positions of Ukrainian units near Toretsk, Druzhba and Dachny, a battle is currently underway.</p> <p>In <b>Pokrovsk</b>direction, since the beginning of this day, the enemy has attacked 54 times in the areas of Vozdvizhenka, Mirolyubovka, Luch, Lisovka, Novy Trud, Dachensky, Shevchenko, Volkovoye and Novovasilovka. Our defenders have repelled 47 enemy assaults, and seven more clashes are ongoing.</p> <p>Today, according to preliminary data, 261 occupiers were neutralized in this direction, 133 of them irretrievably. A car and a communications antenna were also destroyed. </p> <p>On <b>Kurakhovsky</b>In the <b>Vremivskom</b> direction, the enemy made 34 attempts to break through our defenses near the settlements of Petrovpavlovka, Shevchenko and in the Kurakhovo area. Twenty-four clashes have been completed, ten more are still ongoing. </p> <p>In the <b>Vremivskom</b> direction, the enemy attacked our units 33 times near Uspenovka, Yantarny, Konstantinopolsky, Konstantinopol, Razliv, Razdolny, Novy Komar, Novosyolka, Velyka Novosyolka and Storozhevy. Ukrainian soldiers repelled 22 enemy assaults, the fighting continues. </p> <p>In the <b>Prydniprovsk</b> direction, the invader troops twice unsuccessfully tried to displace the Defense Forces units from their positions. They suffered losses and retreated. </p> <p>The operation in the <b>Kursk</b> region continues. At present, the Defense Forces have repelled 28 attacking actions of the invaders, the fighting continues. </p> <p>In other areas – without any significant changes. </p> <p>Today, it is worth noting the soldiers of the 3rd operational brigade named after Colonel Petr Bolbochan and the 126th separate brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces, who are effectively destroying the enemy, inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment.</p> <p><!--noindex--></p> <p><a rel=lb.ua
