“Nova Poshta” warned about a fraudulent scheme

Ukrainians risk becoming victims of phishing on behalf of the postal operator.

> on the Telegram page reported cases of sending Ukrainians letters allegedly on behalf of the company with statements about the “existence of debt.” This is a phishing campaign from cybercriminals.

According to representatives of the postal operator, the attackers are trying to hide behind the name of a well-known brand and manipulate sensitive information in order to obtain money or data. Letters with “debt” claims should not be opened under any circumstances; they have nothing to do with “Nova Poshta”.

The company's cybersecurity division is working to block the servers from which Ukrainians receive fraudulent mailings. Experts also analyzed the letters and concluded that if they are opened, the device's operating system should be reinstalled to avoid further risks.
