Over 100 tons of soil contaminated with fuel oil collected in Sevastopol in two days

A regional emergency has been declared in Sevastopol.

Volunteers collect fuel oil with shovels Over the past two days, 111.8 tons of soil contaminated with fuel oil as a result of the sinking of two Russian tankers in the Kerch Strait have been collected in Sevastopol, temporarily occupied by Russia.

This was reported by “Krym. Realii” with reference to the occupation administration.

In particular, on January 5, 84.5 tons of soil contaminated with fuel oil were removed, and on January 6, another 27.3 tons were collected.

42 birds suffered from oil products, which were handed over to veterinarians.
