Drone attack causes oil depot to catch fire in Russia's Tula region

An oil depot in the Tula region of the Russian Federation caught fire as a result of a drone attack

On the night of January 18, drones attacked seven regions. As a result of the UAV attack in the Tula region, a fire broke out at an oil depot.

This was reported by Russian Telegram channels.

The Russian Defense Ministry stated that 46 drones were allegedly shot down. In particular, 18 drones were allegedly shot down over the Bryansk region, 11 drones over the Kursk region, 7 UAVs over the territory of the Kaluga region, 5 drones over the Tula region, 3 drones over the Belgorod region, and another 2 UAVs over Voronezh. According to the Telegram channel “Astra”, the Ministry of Defense did not mention the Smolensk region, where local authorities reported the alleged downing of five drones.

Also, there is information about a drone attack in the Tula region. There, local residents report a fire near an oil depot in the city of Uzlova.

“A fire occurred in a container of fuel and lubricants at one of the region's enterprises. Fire departments are working. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties,” the governor of the region said.
