The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports that as of 16:00 on January 19, there were 125 armed clashes.

Half of them (62) were in the Pokrovsky< /b> direction.

In the Limansky direction, there were 14 armed clashes near Novoegorovka, Nadezhda, Novosergeevka, Novosadovye, Zarechny, Kolodtsy, Zelenaya Dolina, Terny and in the Serebryansky forestry.

This was stated by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky in an interview with military correspondent Andrey Tsaplienko. He emphasized that the Oreshnik is a threat and currently only a few air defense systems can intercept it. Ukraine does not yet have such systems for shooting down this missile. “But we must do everything to ensure that they appear,” Syrsky said.

According to him, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and industry are considering various ways to combat or reduce the effectiveness of these weapons. We are talking about creating “our own air defense system, which would be not just an air defense system, but also an anti-missile system.”

On January 19, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree that brings into force the decision of the National Security and Defense Council on sanctions against traitors.

“We are blocking propagandists working for Russia, people who have gone over to the enemy's side, and those who are helping Russia continue the war. We are also continuing to strip people of state awards – the title of Hero of Ukraine is only deserved by those who truly dedicate their lives to Ukraine,” the President noted. >
