The General Staff's integrated group is checking the formation of the 156th brigade, and has identified “a number of significant shortcomings”

The military unit has now completed its staffing and has begun basic general military training under the updated program.

The General Staff's integrated group is conducting an inspection of the 156th separate mechanized brigade. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The group is headed by Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Oleh Apostol. She will check how the brigade is being formed and will provide all possible assistance on issues of organization and preparation for combat operations.

At present, the military unit has completed the staffing and has begun basic general military training under the updated program. At the same time, the selection of personnel for professional training and the supply of weapons and military equipment in accordance with the plan continues. >

“It should be noted that the mistakes that occurred during the formation and training of the 155th Anna Kievskaya Brigade have been taken into account, and measures are being taken to prevent them in the future,” the General Staff added.
