A group of people is charged with human trafficking and pimping.

In the Kyiv region, a group of people to clients, the police report. They face 15 years in prison.

“Operatives of the Migration Police Department, together with investigators from the Kyiv region police, identified the organizers and participants of a criminal group that organized human trafficking – from organizing and administering to guarding the so-called club. Two of them are foreigners who have already served sentences for similar crimes in the past,” the police reported.

Law enforcement officials note that the defendants, under the pretext of offering work as dancers at the club, invited women and then, under threat, forced them to provide sexual services to clients. According to the police, more than 30 women worked at the establishment under their constant pressure.

Employees of the migration police, together with the SBU, conducted a number of authorized searches in the premises of the club, apartments, and cars of the defendants. As a result, money, computer equipment, mobile phones, rough notes, and other material evidence were seized. blockquote>

The defendants' actions are classified under Part 2 of Article 149 (Human trafficking) and Part 2 of Article 303 (Pimping or involving a person in prostitution) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The issue of choosing measures is being decided, as well as reporting suspicion to other participants in accordance with their roles in the illegal activity.
