Akhmetov is investing another 450 million euros in the construction of a new wind power plant near the Mykolayiv region

DTEK Group of Rinat Akhmetov is investing an additional 450 million euros in the future of another stage of the Tiligul wind power plant (VES) in the Mykolayiv region.

RBC-Ukraine informs about this via the company’s website.

DTEK plans to complete stay until the end 2026 roku. The number of turbines at the power plant will increase from 19 to 83, and the power will increase several times – from 114 to 500 MW.

This is the largest investment in the private sector in Ukraine since the large-scale invasion of the Russian Federation. The total investment in the power plant will amount to 650 million euros.

The project will become the largest wind power plant in Europe to be built in the last decade.

As a result, banks, including Danske Bank, will provide €370 million in loans backed by the Danish Export Investment Fund, most of which will be used in financing Vestas turbines. EnVentus V162-6.0 MW. DTEK is financing the project with wet funds.

Okrim Tiligulskaya, DTEK plans to build a 650 MW wind power plant near the Poltava region. This is part of the company's goal to increase the portfolio of renewable energy sources in Ukraine to 2 GW by 2030. Before today, work may be completed on the installation of 200 MW of existing battery storage systems in various regions of the country.
