More than 220 defendants were suspected, 85 of them were detained.
In three days, the SBU officers, together with other law enforcement agencies, conducted more than 150 special operations and detentions.
The SBU reports this.
“The Security Service of Ukraine, together with partners from other law enforcement agencies, conducted a series of large-scale operations and detentions on January 18-20 in order to combat crimes that pose a threat to state security, territorial integrity and defense capability of our state,” the report says.
During this period, SBU officers carried out comprehensive procedural actions in 157 criminal proceedings. As a result of these activities, 222 people received notices of suspicion, 85 of whom were detained.
In particular, based on SBU materials, the following were notified of suspicion:
- 19 enemy agents who carried out intelligence and sabotage activities in favor of Russian special services;
- 39 persons involved in crimes in the military sphere, including persons involved in the theft of funds from the state defense budget; “schemes” and in organizing illegal border crossings;
- 7 persons who harmed state security in the information sphere and cyberspace, including anti-Ukrainian propagandists;
- 24 persons who harmed the economic interests of the state;
- 7 persons involved in the illegal circulation of weapons and means of military destruction.
In total, 287 searches were conducted within the framework of these criminal proceedings.
- Today, the Security Service and the National Police eliminated six new schemes for evading mobilization that were operating in Ukraine.
