Trump signed a decree recognizing the Houthis as terrorists

In the first days of his presidency, Donald Trump signed an executive order. According to the document, the Yemeni Houthis (also known as “Ansar Allah”) will be listed before the transfer of foreign terrorist organizations under the law on immigration and population.

The document states that in support of the Iranian Quds Corps of the Islamic Revolution, the Houthis have fired at US Navy ships dozens of times since 2023.
