Kiev region police detain arsonist of relay cabinet in Buchanshchyna
Police detained a man suspected of arson of a relay cabinet in the Kyiv region.
This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kyiv region.
On January 10, the police received a report of a fire in a relay cabinet on the Nemishaevo-Klavdievo-Tarasovo section. Law enforcement officers found traces of arson and identified the suspect.
Law enforcement officers found out that the man, because of Telegram, agreed to the offer of a representative of the Russian Federation to commit arson. For this, he should receive a monetary reward.

“To carry out a hostile task, the defendant poured a previously prepared flammable substance onto a relay cabinet and set it on fire. The fire at the facility was filmed by the perpetrator on a mobile phone for further reporting to the customer,” the police said.
For committing sabotage (Part 2 of Article 113 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), the man faces a punishment of 15 years behind bars or life imprisonment.
