Consequences of the shelling of the Kherson region

In January 2025, Russia fired over 12,000 shells at the Kherson region. These strikes took the lives of 29 residents of the region, and another 237 people were injured to varying degrees.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson OV Oleksandr Prokudin.

“They were not on the battlefield. Some were going to get bread, some were returning from work, some were just standing in their yard. But the Russians attacked them – cynically and mercilessly,” he wrote in a telegram.

More than half of the victims are the consequences of the so-called Russian drone “safari.” The enemy deliberately killed 17 people and injured 142 residents of the region with drones.
