The President considers the Russian dictator an enemy.
According to the head of state, he is ready to take this step “if this is the only configuration in which we can achieve peace for Ukrainians and not lose people.”
Zelensky stressed that his personal attitude towards the dictator in this case does not mean anything: “I consider him an enemy and I think that he considers me an enemy.”
On the conditions of possible negotiations, the President noted that Ukraine “cannot return all the territories and cannot lose millions of people for the sake of a result that can and not to come.” At the same time, recognition of the occupied territories as Russian is not being considered due to the provisions of the Constitution and “in order not to violate the oath given to those who gave their lives for the country in this war.”
