Help that changes lives

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Ukrainian Helicopters has provided charitable assistance totaling 228 million UAH. Of these, 35 million are for the families of fallen defenders and almost 13 million UAH are for orphans of fallen Heroes. The company has taken under financial guardianship 18 orphans of fallen Heroes of the Kyiv region. Every month, it allocates 10,000 UAH for their needs and organizes entertainment, educational and health events for its wards.

That is why the airline, knowing the problems and needs of orphans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, invited caring and conscientious businesses from other regions, uniting to cover the needs of children from all over Ukraine.

“There are representatives of 28 companies here that pay taxes responsibly. They do not hand out salaries in envelopes, hiding money from military tax assessment. Such people are called white business. Every smile of orphans of fallen Heroes, which appears after communicating with benefactors, after receiving assistance, means a lot. In order to reach all children, a lot needs to be done. But this work is already starting now,” said Vladimir Tkachenko, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ukrainian Helicopters Airlines.

How the platform will work

Any business can join, regardless of size.

At the first stage, the socially responsible business determines the region, the number of children and how it will help those full orphans that are ready to take under guardianship on a regular basis. Within the framework of the initiative, businesses unite to cover the real needs of orphans – from financial support to education, treatment, psychological assistance and talent development.

Each joining company determines for itself the volume and method of assistance.

to support the children of our Heroes where the state does not have the resources. This is especially true for those who live in remote areas of the country, where access to the necessary resources and assistance may be limited. Our duty is to provide them with proper care, education and opportunities for development, because this is the future of Ukraine,” added Deputy Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine Ruslan Prikhodko.

“We are ready to join in and provide monthly financial assistance to the orphans of fallen Heroes. There are really a lot of such children in Transcarpathia, where I have a business, because we, as a rear region, accept Ukrainians from frontline regions,” said Ivan Sinetar, founder of a group of construction and development companies, in particular, C&P Building Corporation.
