The Russian troops tried to reach Sudzhi in the Kursk region via the Giltsa gas pipeline. They were revealed by Ukrainian paratroopers and were immediately destitute.
RBC-Ukraine informs about this by sending a statement to the Communications Management Command of the Airborne Assault Troops ZSU in the Telegram channel.
“So, the enemy’s sabotage and assault groups moved along the Gilts gas pipeline with the intention of gaining a foothold on the outskirts of the Sudzha place. The enemy’s forces were immediately detected by the DShV aerial reconnaissance units,” they said in managed.
There they noted that they immediately began to strike the enemy with missiles, artillery, and drones of various types.
“Currently, the forces of Russian special forces are being detected, blocked and diminished. The enemy’s losses in the Sudzhi area are even greater,” the department added.
The situation in the Kursk region
It seems that the Ukrainian military is about to gain significant territory in the Kursk region. Although the Russian troops were able to take back part of the territory, the ZSU will continue to control over 300 square kilometers around the Sudzha town and its outskirts.
Recently, the British newspaper The Telegraph wrote that the US decision to suppress the transfer of intelligence data to Ukraine has complicated the forecasting of attacks and the coordination of defense of the ZSU in the Kursk region. It was stated in the publication that the ZSU will most likely have to withdraw from the Kursk region so that the troops do not fall into extremity.
However, according to RBC-Ukraine reports, the Ukrainian command does not plan to withdraw troops from the Kursk region, although the situation there has effectively deteriorated. RBC-Ukraine informants noted that attempts are being made to stabilize the situation and countermeasures are being planned.
