The received States of America and Ukraine held a change of relations with Saudi Arabia. During the meeting, the path to peace in Ukraine was discussed.
RBC-Ukraine reports this by sending a comprehensive statement to the Ukrainian and US delegations in Jeddah.
As stated in the statement, the offended delegations decided to take stock of their negotiating teams and confidently begin negotiations to reach a sustainable peace that would ensure the long-term security of Ukraine.
“The received states were committed to discussing these specific positions with representatives of Russia. The Ukrainian delegation soon voiced that the European partners may be included before the peace process,” the source said.
Negotiations in Saudi Arabia
Today, Saudi Arabia received a close delegation from the United States and Ukraine, which was attended by senior official Andriy Yermak, Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov and head of the Ministry of Health Andriy Sibiga. And the US axis was represented by Secretary of State Marco Rubio and National Security Commissioner Mike Volz.
The delegation's meeting with Jeddah lasted for five years.
And before the start of the change, the head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak said that Ukraine is at peace with the world and is ready to negotiate to end war, as well as to approach current negotiations with US officials from a “very open” mistya.
And speaker Derzhdepu Temmi Bruce said a year ago that the American delegation was optimistic about the contacts of representatives of Ukraine and the United States with Saudi Arabia. And it’s time to come across “fantastic news for humanity.”
Apparently, on February 18, negotiations between the US and Russian delegations took place in Riyadh.
