Umerov said that the Ukrainian side supports the peaceful initiatives of the States and that “the ball is now in Russia’s favor, and we will continue to carry out the planned defense operations.”
The head of the Department of Defense noted that “we trust the American people and the American administration,” and negotiations between the United States and Russia are “a process that we will be informed about soon.”
