Zelenskyy signed a law on sending units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to other countries

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed Law No. 4255-IX , which provides for the possibility of sending units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine outside the country.

This is reported by IZ, referring to the draft law card published on the website of the Verkhovna Rada.

According to the text of the document, during the martial law of the union, military units and subdivisions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine may be sent abroad. The main goals of such decisions are:

The law has also been revised to take into account the president's proposals. The amendments clarify the procedure for making decisions on sending units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine outside Ukraine, detail the procedure for their presence in the territory of other countries, and ensure compliance with international law.
