Apple has announced the date of its annual WWDC conference, which will take place in June 2025. One of the main topics will be the presentation of the new version of the operating system – iOS 19. As IZ reports with reference to 9to5mac, this update is expected to be one of the largest in Apple's history, as it can change not only the appearance of the system, but also improve the functionality of devices.
Well-known blogger Jon Prosser has shared new design details of iOS 19 that have already appeared in test versions. In particular, the update will bring more rounded and glossy interface elements that resemble the visionOS style. The new design will include “floating” elements, including a keyboard that will look like it is jumping out of the screen. Such changes will be noticeable not only in applications such as Camera and Messages, but also in new features such as “Apple Sports” and “Apple Invites”.
It is worth noting that not all leaks and mockups may reflect the final look of the update, and Apple may introduce even more innovations that will remain surprises until the official announcement. Famous Bloomberg journalist, Mark Gurman, believes that many new features will be shown at WWDC, and this design is just the first step towards a major transformation.
