Carney stated that he will try to form a “coalition of like-minded Ukrainians” as a joke to create an alternative to the United States of America.
“Since the United States no longer wants to be a leader, Canada won’t,” he said.
The later Prime Minister of Canada added that the period of US dominance of the world economy would come to an end.
“The 1980s, when the United States assumed the role of global economic leader, when they created alliances based on trust and mutual understanding, and maintained a free and open exchange of goods and services, Although this is a tragedy, it is also a new reality,” Carney summed up.
