As NBN reports with reference to The Hill's material, the directors of the National Intelligence Service, The Pentagon and Central Intelligence Agency have been ordered by Congress to prepare a report assessing the progress of the war in Ukraine and how the United States supplies the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
In particular, lawmakers insist that the above document should contain information on whether our country's Defense Forces will be able to contain Putin's army if the new White House administration refuses to provide assistance. It is also proposed to study the scenario in which Washington revokes permission to use long-range missiles for strikes deep into the Russian Federation.
It is assumed that such an ambiguous task from Congress was provoked by fears of expanding aggression not only from the Russian Federation, but also from China, Iran and North Korea, provided that Ukraine is defeated in the war.
This report must be submitted within 90 days after the adoption of the relevant law, that is, it seems, in the coming months.
Earlier, our information portal wrote that the lower House of the US Congress did not extend Lend-Lease for Ukraine for 2025 year.
