A representative of the Armed Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said that the Belbek airfield in Sevastopol is the main air base of the invaders. From there, the Russians are launching kamikaze drones and Iskander ballistic missiles across Ukraine in the south of the country.

NBN reports this with reference to Channel 24.

According to the colonel, strikes on the airfields of Putin’s troops somewhat reduce the capabilities of the “liberators” in the airspace of the Black and Azov Seas.

Ignat clarified that enemy Su-30, Su-27 or MiG-fighters are patrolling between Zmeiny Island and the Sevastopol airfield 29. The space above the Sea of Azov is patrolled by an Il-22 bomber or an A-50 long-range radar detection aircraft.

Note that residents of Sevastopol reported powerful explosions, after which plumes of smoke rose above the city. The local “governor” announced the work of air defense.
